#110 Realty Check

#110 My Superior

Eskimo has evidently decided to try out a new affectation. That or it’s the suit talking.

It is characteristic of his upbringing that Lance automatically jumps from “young couple” to “married.”

It is characteristic of my writing that in the same strip I lift lines directly from Anthony Trollope and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

REALTOR: Now this is one badass g.d. apartment. Such high ceilings! Dude, did you see the moldings?
ESKIMO: I endeavored not to out of politeness.
REALTOR: Look at all the space in the bathroom! Don’t you just friggin’ love a big bathroom?
ESKIMO: I’m sure it is highly unusual to be questioned in this way.
REALTOR: Wow. Such a sweet place, and so affordable!
ESKIMO: I understand it is unmarried.
REALTOR (in cofidence, to Lance): Seriously, dude, you’re not gonna find a better apartment for a young couple starting out.
LANCE: Oh, she’s not my wife… she’s my superior officer.
REALTOR: Heh heh, I know how that is!
ESKIMO (calling from off-panel): Number one, I need you in my ready room!
REALTOR (alone): Bam chika bow-wowww…
