You see, one fine morning, I decided to go check on how progress quest was going. Level 59, eh? Not bad. Then the next morning I checked again. This time Progress Quest was not open. "Oh," I figured silently in my mind, "one of my now ill-fated siblings must have closed it. Or perhaps it was one of my parents, in which case they are even more ill-fated. All will soon be well. Sweet revenge is so close that I can almost, nay, I CAN feel it." Unfortunately, I had figured wrong. Horribly wrong. I decided that the wisest course of action would be to first open progress quest so as not to miss out on any more invaluable exp. That went fine. I clicked "load game". THAT went fine. I clicked on my save file. All was well. Then I clicked "open". The gears of the universe slipped. At least thats how it felt to me. I received some sort of daemonic error message, obviously sent by Satan himself. I froze for at LEAST 46 hours. This was unfathomable. Progress Quest + Not Working = Does Not Compute I tried everything. By that I mean that I tried to load my game repeatedly. Like 400 times. Didn't work. But the answer was nearby. I had that feeling in my bones. You know the one. The one that just screams at you, "THE ANSWER IS NEARBY!!!" And it was. I had the wrong equation. The correct one was as follows: Progress Quest / Not Working = No More Progress Quest I had foolishly assumed that every operation is one of addition in mathematical equations. That, my friends, is the mistake of a first grader. Don't ever make it. Unless you're a first grader. But uh... Yeah. Curse you for bringing up Progress Quest. It never fails to make me cry. Cry like only a newborn babe can. | |

If not, start over... it's tons of fun to build your character up again. Think of the fun times you had killing 3 teenage cheese elementals and then selling their gel for 10 gold pieces! | |

Why can't he be a little more original? But I figure, since I can load his save file, or make a new game, but not load my save file, the problem probably lies in the save file itself. That's what I figure, anyway. I'm way too lazy even to give it another thought. That said, adieu! | |
