Laura University, a private institution conveniently located just twenty minutes north of This Glorious City, has a simple philosophy: Please Laura. Before presenting a new idea for a class, professors are urged to consider the question, "Would Laura like to take this class?" Thus, we ensure a high degree of quality in all of our departments.
Some naysayers claim that our fields tend to be too specialized or weighted toward one or two arbitrarily chosen concepts. The truth is that these foci are not arbitrary, but are rather tailored to Laura's interests. We do not claim to turn out well-rounded students; rather, we turn out students that are like Laura. And in our own special way, aren't we improving the world?
