I run a database for Pillsbury. Do not let his giggly demeanor deceive you, for the Doughboy is a harsh taskmaster.

It must be horror working for a company as well known as Pillsbury. I'm sure people are forever poking you in the belly trying to get you to giggle. It must have been horrible when Chris Livingston worked for Noodle Doodle as well.

What sort of junk do you keep in the database? Recipes? Cookies? Money stuff?

RE: What do YOU do for a living?

Message:
When poked in the belly, I do giggle. and giggle. letting it build into a hysterical cackle just on the edge of screaming, that goes on for an uncomfortably long time, until people visibly want to leave the room, but will not for fear of attracting my attention.

Nobody has yet poked me twice.

I will not give the password, though it is the name of a cheap beer. Anyone who finds my web page and sends mail to that account can have a mittenful of coupons for free cookies and rolls and whatever else I can scrounge up. Good bloody luck. *gryn*

The database mostly holds bizarre intra-corporate info relating to pricing, shipping, volume, and so on. I understand about half of it, despite having built the thing. Two fun bits of information from the raw materials table:

1. Most items have lots of boring detail. Like any given flour will have its identifier code, location used, location of origin, nutrition info, contact info, etc. One of our Grands! Cinnamon rolls, however, contains an item that effectively has:

R10xxx Brown Liquid Kentucky

That's it. That's all the company knows about this item. It's brown, liquid, and it comes from Kentucky. And it goes in our food.

2. We have two listings for eggs.
R13xx1 Eggs
R13xx2 Eggs: Salmonella Free
Ummm... I'll take #2, please.

By the hundred little gods, I hope not. They're under separate fields, i.e.:
Description: Brown Liquid
State of Origin: Kentucky

and no other fields except for code number are filled in.

Hmmm... Pillsbury's parent company is Guinness/United Distillers and Vintners, so it's conceivable. Haveta get me somma that moonshine, if so. Tasting ain't an option... they aren't made in Minnesota, which is where I am.

Raka is of drinking age, though the youngest person on this floor of 80+ people by at least 6 years. The liquid in question is just made and used very far from where I am. It would be a heck of a field trip just to imbibe an unidentified fluid. From Kentucky.

On A&E biography, I saw that Peter Sellars was famous for his brown liquid production. He would come to the set of the movie he was working on with cups of the stuff, and no one ever knew where it came from. Raka should run a Find function on his database and see if Peter Sellars is in it anywhere. I don't know what database you're using, but in mysql there's a sellars() function that does exactly that. Unless it's sellers()? I don't know.
