Subject: FFX GOAL!
Message: I have jsut witnessed an extrodinary feat in FFX blitzball! Drake (henry's name for the main character of FFX) scored a goal in blitzball, standing directly in front of his own goal. The ball flew all the way across the entire court and threw the hands of a decent goalie using super goalie!
The game/blitzball team was henry's but the shot was actually scored while under the control of rory. congradulaitons to both parties.

Message: Dude, I'm so happy. To make this shot had been my ambition for my entire life! My life long dream, as it were. But now I realize that having accomplished it, with of course the aid of my trusty accompanist Rorifaldo, leaves me not surprisingly unfulfilled. What was I living for? The entire court length sphere shot is not even a viable strategy. I'm not the best blitzball player ever. I'm not even a good one. **Tear drop rolls silently down cheek**

Message: DUDE! You are missing the goal of blitzball. The first goal is of course to make Datto just valuable enough you don't need to get rid of him. The second goal is to LEVEL, LEVEL, LEVEL! The third, and dare I say, the final goal, is to make the game of blitzball so damn convienient you can't even lose if you try! There was a reason you were unfulfilled, Henry. You didn't accomplish the third, and yes, the final goal! Can you truly say that if you assume a flat line formation, didn't do any special shots and pressed buttons almost at random that you would surely win? I doubt you can say that with 100% confidence. Perhaps you can say it with 99.99% confidence, but, as WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE? tought us, that simply isnt good enough. Now take your measly 32,000 and come back when you have something worthwhile.
Your friend, Rory.

Message: I've never played :'( I mean whenever I'm over at Henry's either him, Rory, or Felix is always playing. In fact, Felix invites himself over like everyday just to play it :-P I don't like inviting myself places, it seems, well wrong.

Message: The cynic's Final Fantasy N (where N > 6) simulator:
a. Play "Final Fantasy 1" on the Nintendo Entertainment System.
b. Every time you complete a quest, watch 5 minutes of a computer-generated movie.
c. to simulate sub-games within Final Fantasy N, play a different game on the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Message: I gotto say, while that is more or less true, its not half bad :). I think a game within a game thats almost as good as a regular game is a good idea! not to mention you can learn wakka's limit breaks with blitzball :). I really liked Final Fantasy 1 by the way. I loved watching my cousin play it.

Message: Good call, Lefty. While I can appreciate Final Fantasy and all that it has done for gamers the world over, I just can't get into the fighting sequences. I love games where you build your character and I love games that have sub-games built in but the fights get me every time. It just gets annoying when every time you fight you have to watch these annoyingly long and drawn out attacks. What's worse is the even longer celebration of victory.
Maybe I'm just turned off because of The Adventure of Link which may be my least favorite video game of all time. I hate not being able to choose your own battles.

Message: Oooooooooooooooooooh I loved watching that samw cousin play FF1! It was amazing and lovely. I kept a literary log of what happened. there were many love triangles as the characters were 3 beatles & my cousin, and once something I had written was useful in playing the game. I was very proud.
